William Sullivan

William Sullivan is Managing Director of Intangible Partners, where he works with executive teams to identify high impact opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence, automation, and modern software to improve operational performance, unlock growth, and create lasting competitive advantage. Drawing on nearly two decades of experience as a technology operator and entrepreneur, he helps organizations bridge the gap between business strategy and technology execution.
Before joining Intangible Partners, William served as CEO of Standard Magic, where he founded and scaled a technology company focused on developing software platforms, AI powered solutions, and digital products for startups, healthcare organizations, enterprises, and the public sector. Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary teams from concept through execution, helping organizations transform ambitious ideas into scalable businesses.
Earlier in his career, William held leadership roles at Microsoft and Publishers Clearing House (PCH), where he contributed to large scale consumer technology platforms and gained firsthand experience developing products used by millions of customers. These experiences shaped his approach to innovation, operational excellence, and long term value creation.
William has also been an active contributor to the entrepreneurial ecosystem. He founded Silicon Lobster, a community that connected hundreds of founders, investors, engineers, and business leaders throughout Maine, and has served as a mentor and advisor to early stage companies, helping founders refine strategy, build teams, and bring products to market.
William earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University.
